They have been invisible to us in the past, however, with newer evil forces emerging, ones that even this elite group cannot defeat, they are in desperate need of help. They have enlisted the help of many Maplers, to defeat the terrible Master Monsters this group strives to keep from destroying our very society. They are the Silent Crusade.

Hello! I assume you've clicked on this guide because you're stumped on this questline, or possibly because Maplestory is down and you have nothing better to do.
This guide is here to lead you step by step to complete this questline and achieve the awesome rewards that await you!
This is not a completed guide. It can always be updated with new information, and I am always open to suggestions. Please PM me or comment if you find any mistakes, if you want to add something to the guide, if you find any spelling and grammar mistakes, if you would like to make a suggestion, or have a question.
^Silent Crusade Info
The Silent Crusade was originally JMS- exclusive, however GMS introduced it in the Age of Triumph part of the Chaos, along with the GMS- exclusive PvP Capture the Flag and the Crusader Codex, a revamped version of the Monster Book (also from JMS).
On February 3rd, 2012, GMS revamped the Silent Crusade with the version from KMS, in the Alliance Rising update. This revamp came along with Aran and Evan revamps, and the return of CWKPQ.
On August 8th, 2012, GMS revamped the Silent Crusade yet again. This update included better organization, new bosses, and better rewards, and was introduced in the Mutiny Update, along with Pirate and Dual Blade revamps.
^Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: "Where is the Silent Crusade hideout?"
A: The new shop is in Edelstein. Go into the City Hall, enter the hidden portal on the right, and you'll be in the Silent Crusade Secret Headquarters! (Make sure you've completed up to The Silent Crusade in the questline.)
Q: "What are Crusader Coins?"
A: You obtain Crusader Coins from Silent Crusade quests. They are used to buy items in the Crusader Shop (Wence).
Q: "Is the Silent Crusade permanent, or is it an event?"
A: The Silent Crusade is here to stay!
Q: "How do I rank up after I finish the storyline?"
A: The bosses in the Mystic Gates drop Crusader Coins.
Q: "Can I throw away the rings I get from the quests? They're taking up space in my inventory."
A: Yes! Rings don't have anything to do with the story, they're just rewards for you! Nothing will be affected if you throw them away.
Q: "Where is Ito?
A: Ito is in Ito's house, on the right side of Leafre.
Q: "How do I kill Dodo, Lilynouch, and Lyka for the Time Keeper's quests?"
A: You need to wait in Temple of Time: Memory Lane 5, Road of Regrets 5, and Road of Oblivion 5 (respectively) for them to spawn. The versions in the Mystic Gates do not complete the Time Keeper's requirements.
Q: "I'm doing 'x' quest, and the boss I'm killing in 'x' Mystic Gate isn't recording the kill?"
A: The Silent Crusade versions of bosses do not fulfill requirements, nor drop items for any non-Silent Crusade quests. To complete non-Silent Crusade quests, you will need to wait for the boss to spawn normally, in its original map.
^Requirements
To begin the quests, you must be at least level 75. The level requirement of the quests following will gradually increase, up to as high as level 140. (However, you do need to be a higher level than 140 to be able to reach a few maps in the questline)
If you are level 120+, you will start at the quest Special Delivery
You can only enter the Mystic Gates 15 times per day.
I recommend a Hyper Teleport Rock from the Cash Shop if you can get it. 2,900 NX for 1 day, 4,900 NX for 7 days, 9,900 NX for 30 days. [NOT REQUIRED]
^Items and NPCs Involved
Crusader Coin: Crusader coins are used to buy items from Wence. They are obtained from quests in the Silent Crusade quest line and from the bosses in the Mystic Gates.
Wence: Wence sells Crusade items, and is located in the Silent Crusade hideout.
Sodane: Sodane is a member of the Silent Crusade, and gives you a few quests in the quest line.
Starling: Starling is your mentor and partner in the Silent Crusade. She will give you many quests in the quest line.
Crow: Crow is a rather rude member of the Crusade. He will give you some quests in the quest line.
Bastille: Bastille is a member of the Silent Crusade. He will give you many quests in the quest line.
Mystic Gate: The Mystic Gate allows you into the private maps to kill the bosses. You can only enter Mystic Gates 15 times per day.

ALL BOSSES ARE ESSENTIALLY "FAKE" VERSIONS OF THE REAL ONES. BOSSES IN THE MYSTIC GATES ONLY COMPLETE QUESTS AND ONLY DROP ITEMS FOR THE SILENT CRUSADE. For example, Manon in the Mystic Gate does not drop Manon's Cry. Dodo, Lilynouch, and Lyka in the Mystic Gates do not complete the Time Keeper's quests.
^The Silent Crusade UI
This is a quest received from Bastille. He simply gives you a short explanation of the Silent Crusade UI.
The Silent Crusade is divided into chapters. There are 4 different chapters that you must complete in the questline.
You can access the Silent Crusade UI by pressing your , key. (Default)
You get special rewards at the end of each chapter, including titles and Crusader Coins.
When you successfully kill a boss, it is shown as [CLEAR] in the UI.
When you clear an entire chapter, a large [COMPLETE] stamp is shown for that chapter.

^How to Read/Use the Guide
Quests are divided by level requirements. You can find the level requirement for the quest by looking in the table of contents to your left.
[AUTO TELEPORT] means that the NPC will automatically teleport you to the next location.
Map names will be in bold.
If you see Auto Start before the quest description, that means that the quest was automatically started at the end of the previous quest.
If you see Quest Notifier Start before the quest description, that means that the quest is started via the Quest Notifier (on the left side of you screen).
Look in the FAQs if you have a question before asking me/posting a thread.
At the beginning of each chapter, I will list the bosses you must kill in that chapter. At the end of each chapter, I will list the rewards.

Defeat Arkarium 2
Keep going right until you encounter Rhinne, the Goddess of Time, again at Dark Temple of Time: Temple of Time Corridor 1. Arkarium is destroying the seal! Proceed into the next map. Then, go into the portal on the right. (If there is someone else in there, you will have to wait or return to Past Leafre and change channels there.) Then, defeat Arkarium! (Keep in mind, Arkarium's clone CAN seduce you) Unfortunately, it wasn't the real Arkarium, it was only a copy. After talking to Rhinne, the Goddess of Time, enter the portal on the left, and she'll transport you back to present time.
